4 January 2012

Vopium, a mobile VoIP service provider, has announced a significant update to company’s flagship application for Android tablets and smartphones.
The newest version of Vopium for Android is characterized with a streamlined user interface that optimizes communications and improves the user experience.
The updated app from Vopium automatically optimizes itself in order to match a device’s resolution and screen size. It includes a guided tour of Vopium’s intelligent analytics of user preferences to maximize savings on both local and international calls. The app gathers call-quality feedback and displays the per-minute rate before a call is placed.
The new app is fully integrated with the native contacts and dialer; it is designed to provide users with more flexibility as it is able to automatically update the status of contacts, showing whether a contact’s device is connected to GSM, CDMA or Wi-Fi, which makes easier to place free Wi-Fi-to-Wi-Fi calls.
