 8x8 Announced New President

8x8 has announced the recent changes within the company. The top sales executive was promoted to president.
Kim Niederman, the senior VP of worldwide sales operations and a chief architect of company’s channel partner program, will be responsible for company’s sales, network operations and customer service teams.
Niederman joined the company in February 2011, together with Don Trimble, the VP of channel sales. Last year the company acquired several smaller companies in an effort to expand video services, SaaS-based hosted PBX, managed hosting and cloud-based contact center services.
8x8 officials also announced the resignation of Donn Wilson, who had been company’s director since 2003, from its board. And Mansour Salame, the former chairman and CEO of Contactual, acquired by 8x8 in September, has been appointed to the board.
