 Telstra International Announced Extension of Its Ethernet Private Line Service

Telstra International intends to make it easier for company’s MNC customers to order Ethernet Private Line (EPL) service with a new One-Stop-Shop (OSS) option and Ethernet half circuits.
With the company’s half circuit EPL service, Telstra's customers can purchase a half circuit on the Telstra network and another from one of company’s partners to build a "bespoke" dedicated bandwidth Ethernet solution.
With new opportunities the company intends to extend the reach of its Ethernet products to more regions, particularly those where the company does not hold an operating license.
At the present, the company has operating licenses in the majority of major US, Asian and European markets and more than 100 Ethernet service provider partners, as well as 70 private line arrangements.
Telstra officials announced that the company plans signing up other partners this year in order to extend its Ethernet service reach. In December, the company secured licenses in Japan and Singapore.
