tw telecom, one of leading providers of managed services, has recently announced that the company had been awarded a contract from the US General Services Administration (GSA) for advanced Internet, voice and data services in Region 9 (California).
The contract represents “an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract (IDIQ) for multiple services.” Under the terms of the agreement, tw telecom will provide Federal Agencies across the GSA's Region 9 with digital voice/VoIP services; ENLAN service, a fully managed, E-Line Ethernet WAN service; and Private Network Transport service.
The contract is valid till March 2014 and includes provisions for two one-year renewal options.
Agencies can order services both through the GSA and through the direct order/direct bill method.
