Vonage Introduced Company’s Growth Strategy | |
16 January 2012
At Citi Entertainment, Media & Telecommunications Conference held last week in San Francisco, California, Vonage presented company’s growth strategies.
The company is in the process of making mobile calling as inexpensive as it is possible. According to media reports, Vonage is working on a platform that will enable Vonage users to call other Vonage subscribers free of cost.
Vonage’s new plan reminds Skype. Company’s CEO commented that the service will be 30% cheaper than Skype’s rates. Moreover, “Vonage is also a full-fledged phone line alternative, while Skype was not designed for that.”
Vonage’s VoIP technology serves about 2.4 million subscribers. The company has recently introduced calling plans with unlimited calling to more than 60 countries under Vonage World plan.
