Verizon Wireless and ComCast Announced Launching Joint Marketing Program Verizon Wireless and ComCast Announced Launching Joint Marketing ProgramVerizon Wireless and ComCast Announced Launching Joint Marketing Program

19 January 2012

Verizon Wireless and Comcast Corp. have recently announced launching a joint marketing program that offers consumers bundles of landline phone, wireless, cable-TV, and residential Internet services.
According to companies’ representatives, this joint marketing program will expand to other markets during this year and in early 2013.
Although Comcast's Xfinity products will be offered via Verizon Wireless stores, Comcast plans cross-promoting Verizon Wireless services via call centers and online sites.
Additionally, Verizon Wireless and Comcast will develop new products in order to stream content seamlessly between cable-TV/Internet and wireless platforms. According to Verizon officials, “the product development will be based in Philadelphia.”
Verizon Wireless and Comcast officials said “the partnership will have no effect on FiOS TV or Internet products that compete with Xfinity.”
