Equinix, a provider of data center services, and Neutral Tandem, one of leading providers of interconnection services, have recently announced plans to provide participants of the Equinix Carrier Ethernet Exchange (ECEE) with a single point of contact to manage the complexity that is usually associated with exchange-based managed Ethernet services.
Equinix is going to offer ECEE participants the possibility to use EtherCloudSM Layer-2 connectivity network and platform from Neutral Tandem to accelerate and streamline Ethernet service delivery into new markets.
Neutral Tandem’s global footprint offers a channel for expansion into more than 70 countries. With Neutral Tandem’s EtherCloud service, the ECEE participants can save time and reduce complexity through a single source for managing multi-carrier local loop arrangements, E-NNI agreements, service provisioning, SLAs, and other.
