 Windstream Announced Higher Prices on DSL Speed Tiers

Windstream has recently announced increased prices for company’s DSL speed tiers bringing many of its broadband customers to ire.
According to Broadband DSL Reports forum, the telecom company increased prices on three speed configurations: the 3 Mbps tier changed its price from $39.99 to $47.99, the 6 Mbps tier rose from $44.99 to $49.99, and the 12 Mbps tier rose its price from $49.99 to $52.99.
Forum contains a lot of user comments, most of which are far from positive. For instance, one of the users noted that "Since 2004 my Internet bill has gone from $34.99 to $47.99 while my speeds have stayed exactly the same."
Nevertheless, users who subscribed to a Price for Life promotion are not affected by these new rate changes.
