Zhone Technologies, a provider of network access solutions, has recently announced a new zNID Optical Network Terminal (ONT) deployment in partnership with the Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE).
Zhone Technologies and CDE build an FTTX network with Active Ethernet in order to support quick delivery of AMI high-speed Internet access, VoIP and video services to business and residential subscribers in Clarksville.
The FTTX network serves over 60,000 homes in Clarksville; it ensures a high quality triple play media experience for both business and residential customers and allows CDE deploying advanced metering infrastructure.
