Lenovo and Polycom, one of leaders in standards-based UC, have announced an agreement to provide Polycom RealPresence HD video and HD Voice solutions on laptops and tablets from Lenovo.
Both companies will design innovative solutions to optimize and embed Polycom RealPresence video collaboration solutions on laptops and tablets from Lenovo in order to offer high-quality collaboration experiences to end-users.
Lenovo and Polycom are ensuring that a number of devices are Polycom-ready, offering certification and assurance that devices will perform optimally with Polycom solutions.
Lenovo became the first PC manufacturer that announces plans to provide Polycom-ready products. Moreover, two companies are planning to offer Polycom-powered solutions that embed chose Lenovo laptops, desktops, and tablets with Polycom RealPresence HD video and HD Voice collaboration software.
Additionally, Lenovo will resell Polycom’s communication accessories all over the world to help customers get a complete communications solution.
