Sangoma Technologies, an IP communications specialist, has recently announced the addition to company’s product portfolio - NetBorder SS7 VoIP Gateway appliance. SS7 represents a standalone product targeted at providing seamless integration between IP and PSTN signaling.
With the Netborder SS7 VoIP Gateway appliance service providers can provide their customers with next-generation IP features and apps via TDM architectures.
The Netborder SS7 is equipped with SIP and SS7 protocol stacks and interface technology from Sangoma. According to company’s officials, the SS7 “allows IP premise networks to integrate into a TDM-based carrier backbone.”
