 Polycom Announced New Appointments

Polycom, the world leader in standards-based UC, has recently announced the new appointments of five North America-based sales executives in order to drive the ubiquity of video collaboration in the UC market.
Four vice presidents in North America area (AVPs) will focus on increasing sales of Polycom video collaboration and UC solutions to enterprises: Greg Prindle, the AVP of the Enterprise East region; Peter Elmgren, the AVP of Enterprise West; Joe Vranicar, the AVP of Enterprise Central; and Dean Ash, the AVP of Enterprise South. All four new VPs will report to David Ruggiero, the President of Polycom North America.
All new AVPs are tasked with developing and implementing go-to-market plans, while working with Polycom’s alliance, VAR partners and service providers to increase company’s penetration in the market.
Polycom appointed Ashan Willy as company’s new VP of Worldwide Systems Engineering. He will lead the System Engineering team worldwide, while ensuring Polycom’s standards-based solutions answer the evolving requirements of enterprises all over the world.
