 Terremark Announced Completion of Expansion of Colombian Data Center

Terremark, a Verizon Company, has officially stated about the completion of the expansion of company’s Bogota, Colombia data center, the NAP of the Americas-Colombia.
The expanded cloud-empowered facility has doubled its size to about 10,000 square feet of data center floor space. It is considered “one of the most connected data centers in Colombia.”
This expansion of Bogota facility represents a constituent part of a global strategy in order to make advanced IT solutions available via company’s network of almost 50 data centers worldwide.
With its NAP of the Americas-Colombia and Brazil facilities, the company offers over 50,000 square feet of extended data center floor space across Latin America.
The President of Terremark said, “In the last six months, Terremark has completed the expansion of four strategically-located data centers, two of them in Latin America. The NAP of the Americas-Colombia’s growth is aligned with our plan to make our unique IT portfolio available across the globe, and the newly expanded NAP strengthens Terremark’s presence in this high-demand region.”
