 Dialog Semiconductor Announced Partnership with VTech

Dialog Semiconductor has officially stated that company’s ultra low power Green VoIP chip suite had been adopted by VTech.
Under the terms of the agreement, VTech will use the SC14452 and SC14461 VoIP processors and Rhea software suite from Dialog Semiconductor in order to produce a series of VoIP corded and cordless phones.
The agreement significantly extends Dialog’s collaboration with VTech, which is already deploying Dialog’s DECT IC technology in digital cordless phones.
The S-series VoIP phones from VTech incorporate multi-handset and multi-call capabilities, as well as speakerphone functionality, a USB charging facility, EEE802.3af power over Ethernet, along with various advanced hotel phone features.
Moreover, the VTech SIP cordless desktop phones offer DECT, CAT-iq and DECT 6.0 with an adjustable coverage area to provide enhanced clarity and installation management.
