 Graybar Announced Launching Direct Attach

Graybar has recently announced the rollout of Direct Attach, a new solution used for connecting networks in commercial facilities. Graybar distributes electrical, communications and data networking products and provides supply chain management and logistics services.
In a press release, Graybar officials stated, “Today, many building systems have IP connections that require little or no administration. For these applications, Direct Attach can offer better safety, security, and aesthetics than a traditional cabling method.”
The Direct Attach system has been successfully tested and corroborated by the company in collaboration with Underwriters Laboratories, or UL. Different configurations of the category 5e and category 6 cables were also tested by the autonomous testing organization, UL, in active and passive modes. Underwriters Laboratories has confirmed that the Direct Attach system entirely conforms to the relevant standards.
