Adax, a provider of solutions for high performance network infrastructure, security and packet processing, has announced that the company had partnered with AuthenTec to build a new carrier-grade IPsec security solution that will combine Authentec’s QuickSec IPsec toolkit and Adax Packet Processing Boards.
IPsec represents the security protocol for control and user plane applications in LTE. The new IPsec from Adax assures data integrity, confidentiality, as well as robust and standards-compliant authentication for network nodes, including the LTE MME, SGW, PGW, HSS and PCRF nodes.
Adax officials commented that “security in IP networks has been and continues to be of great concern to end users, network service providers and therefore to network equipment and application developers. Adax’s integrated solution enhances security while reducing application development costs and time to market for those applications.”
