 North White School Corporation Selected Morse Communications and Alcatel-Lucent for Technology Initiatives

North White School Corporation has recently announced that Morse Communications had helped design and implement NWSC’s technology overhaul with fiber optic and copper wiring cabling infrastructure, data network switch environment, VoIP telephony system and wireless technology at the school campus in support of evolving technology strategies.
Morse Communications has replaced the IP switching network with the OmniSwitch 6850 10 GigE fiber concentrator and the OmniSwitch 6400 from Alcatel-Lucent. Morse Communications has also installed Alcatel-Lucent’s IP hybrid telephone solution, the OmniPCX Enterprise, and setup a robust wireless LAN solution in order to meet the requirements of NWSC “one-to-one computing” initiative.
Morse Communications officials commented that the company is continuing its partnership with North White School Corporation by supporting the K-12 Technology Initiatives and securing the NWSC network with SafeNAC, a network access control solution, and the Fortigate security appliance. “Morse is looking forward to a long partnership with the North White School Corporation.”
