 Juniper Networks Acquired Mykonos Software

Juniper Networks, one of leaders in network innovation, has officially stated that the company had acquired Mykonos Software, one of leading providers of Intrusion Deception Systems that protect web apps and websites.
The acquisition allows Juniper Networks expanding company’s security portfolio with the only intrusion deception system “capable of detecting an attacker before an attack is in progress.”
Under the terms of the deal, Juniper Networks acquired Mykonos Software for about $80 million.
The combination of Juniper Networks' strong protection with Mykonos Software's technology delivers a suite of benefits for customers looking to lower security risk and reduce total cost of ownership.
According to the officials, Mykonos Software's technology will be a key component of Juniper networks' long-term vision to provide always protected environment across the network, devices, applications, and the cloud.
