Kayako stated that Kayako 4 includes many new features not found in its predecessor.
According to the company’s release, some of these include a secure RESTful API for integration with third-party apps and backend systems, more automation tools to sort and delegate tickets including a trainable ticket filter, integrated VoIP, one-click remote desktop administration, accurate real-time visitor monitoring and much more. As usually, Kayako's products are available as pay-monthly SaaS or as a downloadable package for installation on a private web server.
CEO Varun Shoor stated that he is excited to announce the immediate availability of Kayako's "new generation of customer support products that tailor to the way your organization works, and not the other way around. Our new products are Kayako through and through: easy-to-use help desk software that enables organizations to deliver better customer support across all mediums, keeping everything in one place." In addition to the reinvention of their product lineup, Kayako has also built a secure and stable cloud infrastructure for their SaaS offerings, the Company said. The new Kayako Cloud is capable of instant failover to other facilities in case of outages, immediate provisioning of new resources when necessary and utilizes a globally distributed network for speed.
