Zero Customer ServicePosted: Aug 15, 2022
The Good:
The Bad:
The service was not bad, until we had an issue with the cordless phones. They have a very difficult time with simple tasks. (it took them a long string of emails and about 5 people to understand that we needed to replace a broken phone, which took them over a week). After they finally sent us a replacement phone, it would not connect to the existing base. Don't worry, they said they can link in to our computer and sort it all out... before I knew it, none of the cordless phones worked. Now a couple weeks later they have sent us a new base and new cordless phones, but don't have time to call to help set them up. Don't even ask about onsite help, they don't do that. They were quick to send the monthly invoice despite us not having service for half of it. |

Net2PhonePosted: Feb 16, 2021
The Good:
The Bad:
We first started using Net2Phone as our VOIP Provider in August of 2020. While there were a few hurdles to jump through and some gremlins to work out in the first couple months, Net2Phone has proven to be a reliable and easy to use solution for our company. Sam our Customer Success manager has been very attentive and actively works to help us through any bugs that may come up. |

THE WORST PHONE PROVIDER. STAY AWAY!Posted: Dec 19, 2020
The Good:
The Bad:
Net2Phones is the absolute worst phone provider I have ever dealt with. Customer service has no idea what they are doing. Wasted dozens of hours troubleshooting to never get to the solution and 50 emails later they upgrade support to a 'Tier 1' rep who still struggled to fix the problems. After countless issues and failures on net2phones service and wanting to cancel they will not let us. The original negotiated price has also doubled unexpectedly. STAY AWAY. TERRIBLE COMPANY. |

The Best VOIP Company, I just referred a client to them today!Posted: Jun 17, 2020
The Good:

My experience with N2P has been unequivocally great. They are available 24/7 and have always responded quickly. We are able to use them for our multiple locations and now with "Shelter in Place" it has been an even more important feature. I am happy to recommend them for any business that is looking for a VOIP service provider. I highly recommend them and do not believe any other VOIP provider can match their quality and service. Best support teamPosted: May 01, 2020
The Good:
The Bad:
Customer service goes a loooooooong way these days. Net2Phones Customer Success is without a doubt first-class. I seriously wish more companies that I do business with would follow the Net2Phone model. It is very tough being a Director of Information Systems, knowing that there will be outages, knowing there will be unexpected hardware/software failures; while supporting users that depend on connectivity 24/7. . Now you know why those in my field do not sleep at night! : ) Yes, sometimes inconvenient things happen. Fortunately for me and our business, Net2Phone has always been responsive and seriously provided the best customer service! Net2Phone has made many of my days brighter and less stressful. And that means a lot to me! We are a tough company to please; I hope Net2Phone knows how much we appreciate them, their quality product, and their outstanding service. Bonus if you get to talk with Mark Staley on the phone directly. Not only does he follow through andamp; escalate if necessary, his voice is amazing and worth the call! |

The Most Incompetent VoIP CompanyPosted: Mar 23, 2020
The Good:
The Bad:
The single biggest misstep for my business was engaging with Net2Phone to be our office phone service provider. Nothing can compare to the amount of time wasted communicating our needs, re-communicating our needs, testing their implementations, reporting bugs, and retesting their implementations. Net2Phone promised pre-configured VoIP polycom phones that would have limited set-up once the phones are delivered to our office. This could not have been further from actuality. The onboarding engineer / project manager was kind and well-intentioned, but did not seem to have a command of the system or the necessary tools for proper onboarding (the onboarding team are consultants, not actual net2phone employees). Our small-office had basic phone needs with simple UX requests on how we would like to best utilize the polycom hardware - these requests took countless bulleted emails, several customer service calls, and a few upper management calls that were addressed, but then never actually executed. The phone service itself was terribly unreliable with intermittent call quality. We received over two dozen spam calls per day (which when we eventually changed VoIP carriers, instantly went away). In troubleshooting the call quality, Net2Phone often pushed back on our internet provider with no responsibility taken to their poor product. When we did cancel our service, it took several emails and phone calls in the initial month. Then it took another phone call the following two months as we kept receiving invoices, email communication, and voicemail notifications from a service we no longer had. Incredibly poor customer service. Simply a disaster for my business. |

Excellent customer servicePosted: Jan 31, 2020
The Good:
The Bad:
They definitely make a difference with the quality and professionalism of their team. The customer service is excellent; we have been working with Sam Weisbuch and I have to say that he is amazing. He is accessible, knowledgeable, reliable and always happy! Every time you call it, it will make you feel that you are the most important customer in the world. Sam is not only the person who will expedite your requests (in general, you will receive a quick response if you call technical support), but he is also a consultant. Do you have an idea but don't know how to put the pieces together? He will help. Our overall experience with Net2phone has been satisfactory so far, the product is good, we want them to develop some features that we need to improve the experience of our customers, but we are still in the beginning. I highly recommend it. |

The Good:
The Bad:
The service team at Net2phone that I recently had the pleasure of dealing with was fantastic. I called in and spoke with one of their support engineers, Kassandra, and she not only helped me with the issue that I was originally calling in with, she patiently then answered all of my additional questions, of which I had many. Her professionalism, kindness as well ass knowledge of her product was exceptional. We did end the conversation with one lingering issue but she assured me she would contact the correct people and get that handled asap. She did just as promised and got me into contact with Sam the Customer Success manager. He was also very kind, helpful and professional and he was able to correct the final issue that I had. I would highly recommend the Net2phone product not only based on the fact that it is great but also because of their wonderful Team. Thank you |

Downtime and errorsPosted: Dec 18, 2019
The Good:
The Bad:
The initial setup was great. We have had several issues with our name not appearing correctly on caller ID. They fix it, but it reverts back or they spell our name incorrectly. Our voicemail doesn't always answer so clients get a busy signal or they get the greeting and are not able to leave a message. Also, had them route our calls incorrectly. We're looking around for a new carrier. The errors are mounting. |

Far Less than StellarPosted: Sep 19, 2019
The Good:
The Bad:
Our experience with Net2Phone has been far less than stellar both with product and service. We have found the service to be filled with incompetence. We have two Polycom 6000s and one Polycom 7000s for our conference rooms which we connect directly to our Comcast. The wrong phones were sent in the initial order. Then the correct phones were sent to our home office rather than the site office...twice. After only one month in use, one of the 6000s died and had to be replaced. Both times the unit was sent it did not include the power supply even though the packing slip said that it was included. Hours upon hours have been spent dealing with issues. As well as far too many people involved in the process being sent around between various departments. Although support is responsive initially, there is a complete lack of follow through. It has taken two weeks to resolve yet another issue with the replaced phone and things are still being marked to ship to our home office as well as return shipping labels emailed to the home office. I have had to initiate every follow-up call (daily for the past week) despite leaving messages for a specific person to return my phone call. I honestly don't understand how they manage to stay in business. |

BEWARE of taxes and fees charged. Before we signed a contract we were told taxes would be low..not true. The tax rate equates to 23% of the bill (i.e. Our monthly service is $221.90 a month and taxes are 66.16 for a total of $288.06). Every discretionary tax allowed is through the roof. I would NOT recommend this company. Buyer BEWARE. |

Net2phone - good price, very bad supportPosted: Dec 19, 2017
The Good:
The Bad:
Good price, easy transition, phones were good quality (Polycom), BUT - if anything goes wrong, good luck getting support. Often they're not available, very rarely will they call back, and not customer service "friendly." They just don't get it. I point this out to them and they act like they don't realize they aren't making customers happy - and don't care! I wish I could say there's another VOIP service out there that is markedly better, but I have not seen them as of yet. |

Net2Phone deplorable servicePosted: Oct 02, 2017
The Good:
The Bad:
Nothing but Absolute headaches after switching over to Net2Phone. Initial switch over was not done properly and the office was without phone service for over eight hours. Took additional day to get the FAX service working, switchover was totally uncoordinated and customers were getting 'call can not be completed' message when dialing the office number. Outages and lack of service is almost a weekly occurrence and reliability is deplorable. Phones constantly have to be rebooted to make them work and a request to have the proper time and date set on the phones has been ongoing for over three months |

Very poor service, poor product, IT support cannot resolve issuesPosted: Feb 23, 2017
The Good:
The Bad:
We've had nothing but trouble with this system...multiple issues with no results. Their support person gives us virtually no help with no results. We have done everything he has suggested, moving phones, trying whichever phone is currently not working to an outside network, added additional IP addresses, purchased a larger POE Switch. We called Panasonic to have them diagnose the cordless phone and they informed us it was indeed talking to the base and the problem was with the Net2Phone system. We hired an outside IT company to come in and put to rest the idea it was our IT infrastructure that wasn't compatible, but they found (and we informed Net2phone) our side of this miserable system is working correctly. We have a small system, (4) phone sets, (1) cordless phone set, (1) fax machine. It seems to me with just (2) incoming phone lines (1 published and 1 rollover) and (1) dedicated fax line that it should be a reasonably easy system. But no. Every single time we call Net2Phone for support, or reset the system, it will work for a short time - 15-30 minutes - and then one of the devices goes off line. Do you understand....every single time! It could be the fax machine, the cordless phone, the outside ringer, or one of the 4 phone sets we have at our counter and desk that stops working. This is beyond aggravating. My advice is to never buy, or sign a contract with Net2Phone. You will regret your decision |

I sit on hold for 10 mins or so, then am told no one is available, leave a voice mail. I have done so now 3x and have yet to get a call back. What sort of way to treat customers is this! Skeptical of other reviewers' legitamacy - Net2PhonePosted: Aug 30, 2014
The Good:
The Bad:
Our business is heavily reliant telecommunications for providing customer support to our various chains throughout the world, and while Net2phone certainly has some advantages over traditional telco providers, their customer support department has proved incapable time and time again in providing support in any of the issues at hand and an escalation of the matter took me to a representative of even less caliber in India (?) What prompted me to write this review and pull the plug is the latest reply related to an inconvenience related to static and dimished quality for our entire organization: "Are you using wired/wireless headsets? If so, please check the headphones connection is secure, or if you are using an IP phone please ensure that the device is compatible with our service". What??? We will not be renewing our contract |

We have been using Net2Phone for most of 2014 now and have found it to be very useful for the way we run our business. SHADY BILLING PRACTICE
My phone stopped working, no dial tone, nothing. Contacted Support was on phone for over an hour trying to fix issue. Could not get phone to work and was told to send phone back and they will issue a new one. Two months later on my bill I am charged for phone I returned, first Net2Phone stated I did not return phone, they finally found phone I returned and I figured all was good. Receive my next bill and there is still the charge for phone I returned. Contact Net2Phone to be told they tested phone and it was deemed damaged and they are charging me. I ask for copy of testing they did on phone and to return the phone to me. I was told "THEY CANNOT DO THAT FOR ME" , i CANNOT HAVE PHONE BACK BECAUSE IT IS IN INVENTORY! This is some kind of scam this Company is doing! I have spent hours sending emails and still getting no where. Search for a better Company to do business with, do not trust Net2phone.
