 Alaris Labs adds SMS routing and billing capabilities to its inVoice solution

Alaris Labs, a vendor of solutions for telecom carriers, adds SMS routing and billing capabilities to its inVoice business support solution, which used to handle voice related traffic only. The release of SMS related functions is the reaction of Alaris business development team to the growing demand of the telecom community for expanding their existing voice business to SMS field.
The new version of Alaris inVoice now provides for united control of both voice and SMS traffic of a carrier. All the instruments inherent to the voice functions of the product are fully available for SMS related operations: fast and flexible rates import (in both e.164 and e.212/214 formats); fully automatic routing control with cost and quality (based on SMSC to SMSC Delivery Rate) aware logics; analytics capabilities (which allow for instant analysis of the traffic patterns).
The key advantage of the new version of Alaris inVoice is the fact that the system can be shipped with Alaris SMS Platform. Both the systems are naturally fully integrated to form a single solution. Alaris SMS Platform uses SMPP protocol or HTTP based API to exchange SMS traffic with partners.
The proposed solution will help voice carriers to quickly start wholesale SMS business, especially if the carrier already uses the Alaris inVoice system.
