PLEASANTON and SUNNYVALE, Calif. - May 14, 2009 : Polycom, Inc. [Nasdaq: PLCM], the global leader in telepresence, video, and voice communications solutions, and ShoreTel, Inc. [Nasdaq: SHOR], a leading provider of Pure IP Unified Communications (UC) solutions, today announced that Polycom's SpectraLink® wireless telephones and SoundStation ® IP conference phones are now certified for interoperability on the ShoreTel UC system.

The addition of the Polycom products to the ShoreTel-certified product portfolio offers their joint customers additional flexibility and choice in their UC solutions. The companies' productivity-enhancing solutions include workplace mobility, integration with key business applications, and improved call quality.

Polycom SpectraLink Wireless Telephones
The ShoreTel UC system is interoperable with Polycom's SpectraLink Wireless Telephones. The handsets operate on converged voice and data Wi-Fi infrastructure to reduce costs and simplify management while significantly improving employee mobility, responsiveness and productivity.
