VCOMM, the UK’s leading VoIP value added distributor, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Network Equipment Technologies (“NET”; NYSE: NWK) to distribute the company’s unified communications gateways to channel partners and service providers throughout the UK and Ireland. This agreement provides VCOMM with a more comprehensive product portfolio that will enable the Berkshire based company to deliver low cost, highly functional solutions to the entry-level gateway market as well as address the high-end, multiple E1 market such as call centres and service providers.


NET’s products support ‘any to any’ switching to allow integration into existing voice networks’ legacy TDM equipment, SIP equipment or both. The Quintum multipath switches give enterprise customers a flexible, scalable and cost efficient solution. The VX Series gateway is ideally suited to larger scale needs, providing a complete telecommunications structure. NET is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, offering products that are qualified to be interoperable with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2.
