Network Equipment Technologies (“NET,” NYSE: NWK) announced today that it was recognized by Microsoft® with a 2009 Microsoft Dynamics Customer Excellence Award for excellence in Manufacturing and was honored by Microsoft executives at an awards luncheon on Tuesday, March 10, at Convergence 2009 in New Orleans, the premier Microsoft Dynamics user conference.


The 2009 Customer Excellence Awards, which are presented in 11 categories, recognize and celebrate Microsoft Dynamics customers that have achieved notable accomplishments using their Microsoft Dynamics solutions.

NET was recognized for its strong commitment to manufacturing and innovation. Working with Microsoft Dynamics’ certified partner, Fullscope, Inc. of San Jose, CA, NET delivered solutions that reduced costs, simplified business processes, improved financial reporting and government contract compliance, and facilitated enterprise-wide system integration.

Established in 1997, the Customer Excellence Awards are awarded each year at the Convergence user conferences in the US and Europe. Microsoft Dynamics customers, partners and team members submit nominations. Judging teams for each of the 10 categories rated nominees on creativity, vision, and business benefits. Proposed winners for each category were then presented and reviewed by a panel of Microsoft executive judges for final approval. As part of that final review, winning customers were chosen including the Overall Excellence Award winning customer.
