VX Series provides the ability to link Microsoft® OCS with an existing PBX infrastructure

Plantronics, the world's leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of lightweight communications headset products is using NET’s VX Series Unified Communications Gateway to VoIP-enable a pan-European collaboration environment based on Microsoft’s Office Communications Server 2007 (OCS). Plantronics wanted to use its existing OCS environment as a prototype for customers who sought to deploy voice solutions with Microsoft OCS – and who needed a headset that would support it. It was therefore essential that Plantronics demonstrate the use of its own products in this environment. Our VX Series provided them with the ability to link Microsoft® OCS with an existing PBX infrastructure in order to fully integrate voice to the desktop. –The implementation also provides Plantronic’s users with the physical freedom of headset telephony.
