Thanks to the new DECT standard CAT-iq for cordless telephones, even larger bandwidths can be used for transmission. This provides for not only HD telephony, but also convenient Internet services like e-mail, podcasts, RSS feeds and web radio. The large color display allows users to read and reply to received e-mail even when the computer is switched off.

Depending on the contract with their Internet provider, users can make free national and international calls in HD from their regular phone.
