Bracknell, UK – 13th March 2009 - VegaStream, the award winning leading developer of reliable, cost effective VOIP gateways, has today announced the launch of it’s new Europa Gateways which incorporate an ADSL modem and an Open Applications Server. These new platforms can be upgraded to take full advantage of these applications with the benefit of reducing the deployment costs of VOIP services. The Open Applications Server has been designed so it can host a number of different solutions including IP PBX’s such as pbxnsip and Asterisk. Capable of supporting Linux and Windows applications it has a number of advantages over a distributed solution including reduced costs and quicker installation time. ‘Since the VegaStream Europa Gateway was released it has quickly become the ‘de facto’ choice for channel partners and Service Providers for connecting customers to VOIP services’ said Steve Davis VP Sales & Marketing at VegaStream ‘The introduction of these new developments will further enhance our position as the market leader for VOIP gateways.
