OTTAWA, CANADA – November 20, 2008 – TalkSwitch, the developer of the original owner-friendly™ phone system for small business, today announced that its TalkSwitch IP PBXs have been tested and approved for interoperability with Covad’s Integrated Access, a combined phone and Internet service.
When using Covad’s Integrated Access service, TalkSwitch customers can benefit from a managed quality of service (QoS) for VoIP that extends to their premises, enhanced flexibility for call handling based on directory numbers and a solution that scales cost effectively as their business grows.
“Covad and TalkSwitch have successfully tested the operation of SIP Trunks using Covad's Integrated Access service and the TalkSwitch IP PBX equipped for VoIP,” said Jake Heinz, vice president and general manager, Covad VoIP. “This solution allows Covad to offer customers a cost-effective solution for integrated phone and Internet accessibility.”
