 Government Reissues Licenses to RanksTel and National Telecom

The government has made a decision to reissue licenses to two PSTN companies, which operations were closed in March last year for involvement to illegal VOIP business.
The authorities demanded the telecom regulatory to assume the measures in this connection.
The PSTN operators that have been taken for reissuance of license are RanksTel and National Telecom.
The telecom ministry issued an official letter to Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) in orter to reissue licences.
