EXFO, digital testing firm, has released a new software package which could help companies to enhance the quality of their VoIP services.
The company has added new features to its InterWatch R14 and QualityAssurer QA-604 platforms, enabling users to test the performance of their VoIP network at security gateways.
Although security is essential for companies using IP telephony solutions, these gateways, which can help prevent malicious attacks, also require significant bandwidth.
According to EXFO's officials, the new software can help companies establish their service performance throughout the network.
