 DataLink Announced Acquisition of MidWave

As large telcos are involved in acquisitions and partnerships, the same trends are happening at the regional and local levels.
Datalink, Chanhassen, Minn.-based data center services company, has recently announced that the company had acquired MidWave, a Minneapolis company, with all assets for about $17.6 million.
These two companies are specialized in providing services such as virtualization and data center migration, storage, disaster recovery, e-mail and business continuity services.
With this acquisition Datalink receives many new customers, though the company will assume around $11 million in MidWave liabilities.
According to the DataLink press release, MidWave has $11.5 million in assets and around $500,000 in equipment and property.
