Vocalocity Acquired DigiTalk’s Customers | |
20 January 2012
Vocalocity, one of leading cloud-based phone services for small business, has recently stated that the company had acquired the customers of DigiTalk, a hosted communications provider located in Rutherfordton, N.C.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Vocalocity officials said, “We’ve enjoyed tremendous year-over-year growth and our experience working with companies like DigiTalk to bring advanced capabilities to their customers is an important part of our strategy. Our scale allows us to build more capabilities into our communications platform that makes the phone system work harder for our customers. Our customers find that they can sell more and service better by using all of the capabilities that we provide.”
DigiTalk’s CMO commented that quick growth and ever-changing regulations prompted the company to partner with Vocalocity, an established leader in the VoIP industry. “Vocalocity was the obvious choice to advance our capabilities in this competitive market, and provide 24 by 7 support for our customers. Vocalocity is the clear market leader with a proven track record serving customers like ours. We simply would not have made the decision to sell if we weren’t confident that our customers would be better served,” noted DigiTalk’s SEO.
