 VoIP phones users 'want to join mobile data craze'

People who use smartphones for the work want companies to invest in models so to let them enter the growing mobile data "craze".
Heather McLean, editor of trade publication Mobile Business, stated that individuals who are on VoIP services during the day want to be able to use the same device out of the office to access social networking sites like Facebook.
They are also looking for smartphones that they can download applications for and that make it easy to stay in touch with friends and family, she added.
"They want to be part of this new mobile data craze that's everywhere," Ms McLean stated.
These comments follow the publication of research by Strategy Analytics that demonstrated broadband traffic generated from handsets will account for around 30% of global network loan by 2015.
This would represent a ten-fold increase compared with 2010, the company noted.
