3 September 2009

With more and more users going online to get the information they need, companies are realizing the importance of a robust online presence. D-Link Canada, an end-to-end computer networking solutions provider for consumers and business, has acted on this requirement and has launched a next-generation website to cater to the changing customer needs.

The company claims that the new site, www.dlink.ca, is designed as a all-in-one source to provide customized networking solutions. Along with a new graphical interface, the web site also has roll-down windows for easy navigation. It’s also easier to find important products now with a central scrolling menu bar.

The products offered by the company include online gaming, network storage, home networking, switching, network cameras, Internet security, media players, video conferencing and printer sharing. According to the company, the new Web site cater to the specific vertical industry solutions, including home and office, small and medium business, large business, and government and education.

“We incorporated features into the site design that define our product categories according to industry vertical markets to help our customers and partners find the solutions they are looking for as quickly as possible," said Nick Tidd, vice president of sales forD-Link ( News - Alert) Pan America and VP marketing for North America. "We're confident visitors also will embrace the new advanced graphical interface, tools such as Product Selector and Network Builder”

The new D-Link web site includes an interactive home/office or business "Network Builder”, which poses questions to the visitors and then recommends networking options based on their specific needs. D-Link states that the site concentrates on educating consumers on D-Link's various product categories and terminology.

The company recently entered into an agreement with Crossover Distribution.Com Corp. Under the terms of the agreement, Crossover now would be able to offer the full line of D-Link information technology, small-to-medium-sized and enterprise solutions throughout Canada. D-Link is a major player in connectivity for small, medium and large enterprise business networking.
