RADVISION Ltd., one of leading providers for unified visual communications, has officially announced that the company’s SCOPIA Elite 5000 Series MCU had received Unified Capabilities Approved Product List (UC APL) certification from the US Department of Defense (DoD).
The UC APL certification confirms that the product has passed a set of security-based information assurance and interoperability tests that were administered via the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), guaranteeing that the solution can be implemented on the DoD Network.
RADVISION’S SCOPIA Elite MCU provides support for interconnecting the HD video conferencing, immersive telepresence and mobile devices, it is capable to host multi-party video conferences.
SCOPIA Elite is based on the latest in DSP technology; it supports entire 1080p HD together with company’s unique H.264 SVC implementation empowering complete interoperability with standards-based systems, together with high error resilience, efficient for systems that are used on tactical networks in the field.
SCOPIA Elite’s model provides the capacity in resolutions up to four times lower than HD, cost effectively providing HD and standard video on the single platform. The mentioned functionality is implemented via SCOPIA Elite’s Advanced Telecoms Computing Architecture (ATCA).
