17 September 2011
GENBAND, a developer of IP infrastructure and app solutions, has officially stated that Tbaytel, a telecoms services provider in Canada, had selected GENBAND to deliver Secure SIP services over its fiber-to-the-home network.
GENBAND’s integrated solution offers the S3 Session Border Controller (SBC), A2 Communications Application Server, and Professional Services and Training. The integrated solution along with Tbaytel’s existing softswitch architecture can help in deploying robust hosted business as well as consumer VoIP capabilities and functionality.
Tbaytel’s officials commented that critical factors to select the S3 SBC solution from GENBAND included scalable security and capability to manage message flow for new and future SIP services.
GENBAND’s single source validation and testing solution will be part of the complete IP transformation services and support solution.
GENBAND’s S3 SBC can fully protect service provider and enterprise networks because it provides a multi-layered security against various Internet threats such as flood attacks, SIP signaling attacks and DoS/DDoS attacks.
