Telchemy Incorporated, a provider of IP Video performance management and VoIP technology, has announced the release of the VQmon for Streaming Video. With this new solution the company provides a new standard for the measuring and analysis of quality of video streaming services.
Telchemy’s VQmon has been developed to perform real-time analysis of streamed videos leveraging established protocols from Apple, Adobe and Microsoft. The solution evaluates and monitors the buffering and video performance quality as well as provides QoE standards and comprehensive performance.
To measure MOS scores, VQmon deploys an advanced perceptual model to provide information on rules controlling video resolution, video encoding and playout gaps in a fast and efficient manner.
It has been developed for direct integration with routers and other network equipment. Moreover, it employs a very small percentage of processor and memory power.
