Onebox, a cloud phone service of j2 Global Communications and a provider of hosted UC services, has announced launching a new version of company’s mobile app for Apple devices.
The new version enables Onebox customers to place and receive VoIP calls over WiFi and a 3G/4G network. With this app, Onebox customers will be reliably connected to their business from any place in the world without using cell phone minutes.
The new Onebox Mobile Application can transform an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch into a business communications center providing the following functionality: phone calls over a WiFi connection or 3G/4G network using VoIP; 24/7 auto attendant; multiple extensions, including intercom functionality; enhanced voice mail service with transcriptions and audio files sent to email or text; advanced call handling features, including call screening.
The Onebox app enables users to reduce their cell phone minutes for domestic and international calls; make high quality calls from an iPhone over WiFi and a 3G/4G network; use iPad as a phone, making and taking calls without a mobile phone or calling plan; give their iPhone a second phone number: a personal number for private calls and a Onebox number for business calls.
