AT&T has recently announced new cloud-based UC Services that help businesses “control costs and eliminate unpredictable expenditures.”
AT&T UC services provide customers with the ability to unify communications over the highly-secure and reliable network.
AT&T UC Services can be accessed from almost any device, allowing employees to communicate and collaborate in real-time regardless of location. The solution is designed to meet the requirements of mobile workers by providing the ability to work virtually anytime, anywhere, on virtually any device and facilitating the ability to transition between communication methods.
AT&T UC Services consists of two major components: AT&T UC Central and AT&T UC Voice.
AT&T UC Central can integrate multiple communications and collaboration tools like IM/chat, VoIP calling, email, web/audio and video conferencing, unified messaging, voicemail and mobility with presence.
AT&T UC Voice provides high quality IP Telephony from the AT&T cloud; it can be used as a stand-alone service or as integrated with AT&T UC Central. AT&T UC Voice deploys the Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) platform.
