 Tata Communications Sells BitGravity's Service Management Technology to Juniper

Tata Communications acquired US content delivery network BitGravity less than a year ago. Recently the company has reported that Tata had sold the BitGravity's service management layer technology to Juniper Networks.
With this purchase Juniper significantly enhances its content and media solution portfolio.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Juniper officials commented that company’s service provider customers require innovative solutions “to improve the efficiency of content delivery and enable new revenue sources.”
This transaction brings Juniper a "highly optimized and battle-tested service management layer."
The technology will compliment Juniper’s Media Flow Solution and empower service providers, content delivery networks and online media companies to provide online content more cost-effectively and simultaneously improve the end-user experience, as well as drive new revenue.
The company plans rolling out an integrated solution this year.
