23 February 2012

CounterPath, a Vancouver company, has recently announced partnership with Rogers in the creation of Rogers One Number service that allows Rogers wireless customers making calls, texting and video chatting from computers using mobile phone number.
The service is provided through a web browser; it allows you taking calls and getting texts to one inbox on your computer, as well as making calls and sending texts to any Canadian phone number. Moreover, it allows video chat with other Rogers One Number users.
As company stated, “you can switch mid-call between your wireless phone and your computer, so if you’re chatting on your phone as you arrive home, you can continue with the same call on your computer to save wireless airtime.”
